Job Summary

As a Development Lead, you will focus on Oracle DB maintenance and new feature development based on the project requirement, and build and release software to help deliver business values to real business by accomplish the requirement through development. You will understand different technology silos and the integration methodology within the Bank. You will be part of the team that constantly work on improving Razor Trading Platform to purchase best technical practise and business requirement satisfaction.

Job descriptions:

  • Maintain the Oracle DB cluster for both prod and non-prod environments.
  • Develop the new features based on the project requirement.
  • Upgrade and fix the vulnerability issue related with DB.
  • Optimize current process to make it more efficient and flexible.
  • Keep the DB env stable and compliance with Bank Strategy.
  • Work with each project manager to make the env usage plan.
  • Coordinate with project team to manage all the dev DB env.
  • Work together with Razor Developer to complete the development in Razor platform to realize the requirement from user, and also perform unit test.
  • Support SIT/UAT/DR and go live activities on project level.
  • Stakeholders engagement and the status reporting preparation.
  • Manage defect triage and correlate symptoms with likely causes.
  • Manage the project and deliver from end to end.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years working experience in Oracle DB development. Experience with FM system migration project is preferred.  
  • 2 years + working experience in financial market technology department.
  • Development experience on Oracle
  • Experience with industry leading databases like Oracle, Sybase etc, and strong in writing SQL.
  • Scripting language experience, Shell Script, Python,  Excel VBA etc.
  • Business analysis experience in big projects.
  • Adequate English communication skills in writing and speaking in an English working environment.
  • Strong abilities on problem solving and constructive thinking, a quick learner.
  • A logical thinker in front of huge complexity and uncertainty.
  • Team player with proactive thinking and initiative to improve the entire team’s efficiency and collaboration.
  • Enthusiastic about software quality engineering and its modern applied practices/tools.
  • Development experience on Oracle/Linux.
  • Medium level knowledge in FX/MM platform, with business analysis experience in Financial Market.
