Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    The successful candidate will be equally comfortable with project planning, technical governance processes, scrum master activities, solving blockers and impediments for the teams, knitting together technical architectures, and communicating decisions effectively with senior stakeholders.

Overview
•    Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple engineering teams in an Scrum environment
•    Serve as both technical delivery leader and Scrum Master, ensuring successful project execution
•    Enable adoption and implementation of Generative AI tools and frameworks in development workflows

Required experience and capabilities
Tech Project Leader
•    Manage end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team software projects from inception to production
•    Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders
•    Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking dependencies, risks, and milestones
•    Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, QA, and product managers
•    Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
•    Manage project budgets and resource allocation across teams - Track and report on sprint velocity, burndown, and team health metrics
•    Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure stories meet Definition of Ready

Managed Risk & Issues
•    Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively
•    Implement quality gates and ensure projects meet acceptance criteria
•    Manage change requests and assess impact on timelines/scope
•    Ensure proper testing strategies and quality assurance processes

•    Various team and program frameworks, Scrum experience and relevant industry certifications are advantage (PSM, LeSS, SAFe, Srum, Lean, PMP)
•    Demonstrated ability create transparency and monitor effectiveness around good planning and engineering practices through squad data driven analysis and conversations
•    Adaptive to changing situations and enjoy collaborating with global teams in a diverse multi-cultural environment 
•    Passionate for solving challenging problems and learning new skills
•    Enjoys wearing different hats of Teacher, Mentor, Coach & Technologist
•    Support the Product Owner and other stakeholders while keeping program and scope on track
•    Demonstrated experience removing impediments to the ability of the team to deliver and improve
•    Good understanding on Release Management, DevOps, Engineering Practices, Quality & Test strategies
•    Knowledge and/or experience with various successful techniques: Scrum, Kanban, User Stories, ATDD, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration
•    Previous experience working with Cloud and DevOps teams will be highly valued
•    Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
•    Highly self-motivated and able to work well under pressure to manage competing demands, complex situations, people and technology
•    Knowledge of Banking ecosystems - preferably in Risk or Corporate & Institutional Clients domain with understanding of associated applications, complex systems interfaces, products, process, and Risk regulatory framework/models/reporting

Multi team / scaled scrum approaches to managing Product Governance and Bank Project Management in conjunction with your stakeholders and team

Qualifications

•    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
•    Safe Program Consultant (SPC) or Safe Agilist
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2
•    AI/ML certifications (AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Cloud AI, etc.)
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or relevant disciplines
