Job Summary

This role is to support the FM Data management delivery team, primarily covering the DQMA application. 
As a developer, you’ll be responsible for delivering quality solutions to tight timelines.. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Roles & Responsibilities 
To be a developer within the Sales Technology team 
•    Member of a development team with Agile methodology 
•    Responsible for contributing to the full development lifecycle  
•    Develop solutions to business problems using modern software development best practices. 
•    Be a self-starter and be able to quickly grasp and understand the Sales Business domain. 
•    Able to face business users. Interact with the users to gather the requirements if required 

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Markets (FM) Data Management team is looking for a leader with a proven track-record in resolving data quality issues in a complex financial institution. This strong minded individual needs to be technically sound, with a proven track-record of delivery, to join our Data Quality Analytics programme. The individual needs to have at least 8-12yrs experience working in a Financial Markets domain and extensive experience in; solving data problems at source, data profiling, big data technology, data governance and data analytics. The role requires tackling key data issues that impact regulatory regimes, setting out an architectural roadmap for the application, growing the team to meet the ever increasing demand, partnering with the business to ensure adequate ownership and implementing an operating model to gain insight in DQ issues, identify root cause, and resolve. 

Skills and Experience

Core skills: 
•    6-8+ years of experience in Banking and IT Delivery
•    Excellent technical knowledge of Big data and MI visualisation tools (Tableau/Qlikview/Power BI)
•    Proficient in multi-threading, data structure and design patterns. 
•    Proficient in MSSQL development work 
•    Experience in Dev-ops automation tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, GitHub, Artifactory and Ansible 
•    Experience with Scrum/Agile methods  
•    Experience with Control-M and Cloud platforms are desirable
 Functional skills: 
•    Financial Markets Sales knowledge preferred 
•    Understanding of Client onboarding life cycle 
 Soft skills: 
•    Fluent in English (speaking and writing)  
•    Outstanding problem solving skills  
•    Proactive, self -starter, autonomous  
•    Good team spirit  
•    Ability to work under pressure with multiple assignment 
 General: 
•    A plus if have strong knowledge and previous experience in end-to-end design, and subsequent support of large-scale data processing systems
