Job Summary

•    Contribute to execute the technical strategy and roadmap for their area of product responsibility
•    Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to achieve successful delivery of high-quality software products
•    Work with business to translate roadmap features / requirements into manageable components/tasks, estimate timings and resources, suggest solutions and identify possible risks
•    Owns quality of work ensuring it meets the quality standards of the Bank
•    Know very well one of prevailing Web frameworks including React, Next.js, Vue.js, hands-on JavaScript or TypeScript
•    Familiar with design principles and specifications of Web UI, well known Material Design, Ant Design or any enterprise design mechanisms, and be able to complete the development work with CSS, SASS ,LESS or Tailwind CSS
•    Familiar with modern build system, e.g. Rollup, Webpack, Vite, Yarn, NPM, Yeoman
•    Familiar with web security standards, own the sense of common security mechanism and scenario
•    Experience on Agile/Scrum, practice on BDD, CICD and DevOps using market leading tool stack 
•    Good English communication skills
•    Contributions to open-source projects or participation in developer communities is a plus.
•    Experience with full stack development is a plus.
•    Experience with AI/ML projects is a big plus.

•    The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.

•    Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Web frameworks including React, Next.js, Vue.js
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery methodology and related tools
  • Experience with microservices, API-first, event-driven, agent-based architecture and design
  • Knowledge in DevOps – CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), orchestration (Ansible/Salt)
  • Knowledge of different aspects of service design: including messaging protocols and behaviour, caching strategies and software design practices
  • Knowledge of infrastructure (networking, hypervisors, storage, security) - experience working with a private cloud is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Kibana and Grafana
  • Experience with AI/ML

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION     Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
