Job Summary

Strategy
•    Input to Country/Client Business operating model design of relevant FCC and business processes.
•    Ensure that there is adequate support (people, processes, tools, frameworks, systems) in the Country/Department for necessary FCC controls
•    Implement the vision, strategy, direction and leadership for the Country/Department, consistent with the vision and strategy for FCC and in support of the Group’s strategic direction and growth aspirations

Business
•    Provide administrative support for the team members.
•    Arrange / schedule external & internal meetings, video conferences & conference calls.
•    Coordinating office equipment/stationery for the department
•    Ensuring archives and files are maintained in effective format where necessary.
•    Open cases subjected to suspicious transactions.
•    Prepare case documents for further investigation.
•    Prepare daily spreadsheet for reported STR cases.
•    Provide research support to Investigation Analysts.
•    Administrative support for FCC Controls, including retrieving transaction details from various bank systems, case allocation and client profile preparation, STR storage and maintain log.

Processes

•    Keep up to date of appropriate policies/processes/DOIs to address financial crime risks, aligning with relevant regulatory requirements
•    Work with relevant stakeholders on compliance with Group standards relating to AML/Sanctions/ABC

•    Ensure participation on appropriate FCC awareness & training within country
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank 


Risk Management

•    Work with the FCC Controls management and team members to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcome for Clients; Effective Operation of Financial Markets; Financial Crime Prevention; The Right Environment. 
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters

Governance

•    Support all control checks undertaken by FCC under the Operational Risk Framework (ORF)
•    Collate, analyse and interpret data in reports to senior management and relevant governance/risk committees


Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
