Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Wealth Solutions Operation Department (herein “WSO”) is at the heart of Wealth business and bridges various stakeholders to work as one. The department is responsible to setup the products internally, execute, clear, settle the transactions, and resolve any problems derived from above activities. The department is also accountable to engineer and perform control processes to remediate the inherent risk in operational activities and to drive the efficiencies and digitalization at the same time. 


Business
•    The role is setup under “Wealth China Settlement” team to provide operational support to products including but not limited to: Mutual Funds, Structure Deposit, QDII-Bond, QDII-Structure Notes, Bank Assurance, Wealth Management Product in the scope of China Wealth; or to support the Equities and Treasury product in the scope of HK Wealth.
•    The role is to lead daily business and its derivative jobs if applicable; and need to ensure accuracy and timely completion for trade and settlement. The role is required to maintain the department’s knowledge for cross product and is designated to deliver expert services within work scheme, such as process review and internal training, etc.
•    The role is to drive the project with product and technology to ensure new business need is well implemented.

Processes
•    The role is to lead daily business and its derivative jobs if applicable; and need to ensure accuracy and timely completion for trade and settlement strictly following service standard. The role is required to maintain the department’s knowledge for cross product and is designated to deliver expert services within work scheme, such as process review and internal training, etc.

•    The daily business is including but not limited to:

•    Products setup in the system
•    Transactions delivery and data maintenance
•    Confirmation and payment processes
•    Reconciliation and other control processes
•    Liaison with stakeholders for the exceptional cases
•    Regulatory reporting support
•    Cooperation with product managers and technology to drive projects.
•    Ensure to report line manager all irregular issues and potential risk on time.
•    Cross support according to business and team requirements.

•    Quick learner with proven academic record
•    Being logical and analytical, good reasoning ability
•    Team player and open mindset
•    Good common sense 
•    Self-driven and diligent
•    Proficient English skill is preferred
•    Experience in Financial industry or banking Operations is preferred 
•    Entry-level coding skill (e.g. VBA or SQL) is a plus
