Our DSS (Data Solution Service) team is seeking Sr. Developer to join us in Tianjin. The candidate must be a skilled professional with E2E software development experience with a desire to work in an Agile, dynamic and flat organizational structure. As Sr. Developer, you would be required to design the data model to convert the logical model to physical mode, develop the data pipeline of ETL and implement into target system.

Have good sense on IT development process, manage delivery quality, collaborate with peers & cross different department colleague, delivery management.

Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
 

Skills and Experience

Experience/Background
•    Design and develop ETL jobs in Hadoop ecosystem using Spark, Spark SQL.
•    Understand the data modelling methodology especially Hadoop oriented technology stack and be able to convert to physical model from logical.
•    Conduct end to end project delivery tasks such as:  data analysis, job flow design and development, testing, and release.
•    Follow and contribute to DevOps and related team collaboration activities.
•    Follow the Agile project management principles, and work with Business Analyst, QA, Scrum Master to make sure the smooth delivery.

•    Must have strong sense of responsibility/ownership
•    High learning aptitude, able to learn new products and technology very quickly
•    Must be an effective communicator with business English literacy, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills
•    A team model leader who enjoys working and influencing people on all levels as well as being able to drive delivering with team members under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Technology Requirements
•    7-12 years’ experience in Big Data Development.
•    Hands on experience in Hive SQL and Spark SQL related development experience.
•    Hands on experience in Spark application development. 
•    Experience in some of the core components in big data area like Hbase, Impala, Kafka etc.
•    At least familiar with one of the programming languages: Java, Scala, Python.
•    Fast learner, self-disciplined, positive attitude.
•    Put forward ideas to improve automation and/or efficiency, and own through to implementation.

Qualifications

•    Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or related fields
•    Business English (at least read and written)
•    Chinese language (verbal and written)
•    Scrum Master certification would be preferable.
