Title: Associate, Corporate Affairs and Brand & Marketing

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- To provide support to Corporate Affairs and Brand and Marketing (CABM) function.
- The role holder is required to help delivering communication program which is developed on the strategies to build and protect the reputation of the Bank both externally and internally and deliver on the Here for Good brand promise with clients, community, staff, government and media stakeholders and establish positive association with them. (Corporate Affairs)
- The role holder is responsible for delivering Brand & Marketing activities to support business functions in providing marketing opportunities and sales support tools in order to enhance client communications and relationships for further growth. (Brand and Marketing)
- (Corporate Affairs)
- Deliver communication program to support the Country and Regional Corporate Affairs strategy and planning processes, aligning with (and challenging) Group aspirations.
- Responsible for developing and delivering the strategic direction of Community Relations strategies and processes within a Group/ Regional level to ensure continuous improvement, sharing best practice and that the appropriate initiatives are in place.
- (Brand & Marketing)
- Be the Brand Champion in the country.
- Provide support to develop an integrated marketing calendar to deliver the country business agendas in consultation with stakeholders (CEO, business heads, regional heads).
- Help building an integrated approach to leverage sponsorship assets & CSR with Corporate Affairs.
- Leverage digital marketing to increase awareness & utilization of digital banking platforms.
Business

- Functional
- 3 years of Corporate Affairs and/or Brand & Marketing experience, preferably in the banking/financial services industry within an international context
- Aspiration to develop one’s career in Corporate Communication, Brand and Marketing in the banking industry.
- Digital marketing and communications experience would be a plus.

Governance
- Perform operational risk assessment as per designated risk controls, key risk indicators and risk management procedures relating to CABM.
- Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws, other applicable laws and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.
- Keep abreast of the Group’s values and code of conduct in CABM Japan to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture.
- Ensure compliance with global brand & marketing guidelines in tone, manner, look and feel.
