RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Responsible for managing the operation of CCIB business’s agenda. This may include daily management of the schedule, keeping meetings and appointments on time, or changing schedules when necessary. Also provides a bridge for smooth communication and coordination between the respective team and internal departments; maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management team.
• Gatekeeper and liaison for contacts by responding to internal calls and correspondence on the respective team’s behalf, as necessary.
Business
• Responsible for the organization, coordination, follow-up, of paper files / records / documents and retrieval of documentation of CCIB team’s agenda.
• Ability to anticipate the respective team’s needs, act accordingly and proactively bring together appropriate people and resources to support in addressing issues.
• Manage travel arrangements and proactively coordinate the pre-planning of trips, including arranging appropriate travel and accommodations, agendas, necessary contacts, marketing materials and other necessary preparations.
• Prepare and coordinate for incoming visits by senior executives and non-executive directors, etc.
• Ability to manage, coordinate and execute administrative projects / tasks. Represent the respective team in a professional and congenial manner in person, in telephone conversations and in written correspondence. Also researches, prioritizes and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CCIB team, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral or response.
• May be called upon to perform the above tasks for selected individuals outside of the respective team.
Processes
• Process and maintain expenses for the staff within CCIB businesses.
• Help the respective team manage office deadlines. Make sure that action items are completed.
• Handles confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement special events.
Risk Management
• May be called upon to conduct or coordinate periodic operational risk checks in a timely manner, up to the required standard, with full understanding of the check requirements.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Each CCIB team – Corporate, FI, and CA, etc.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Education Bachelor degree preferred, with an impeccable work history, with high level administrative or executive assistant experience; ideally within multinational organizations.
• Certifications Must have strong organizational and time management skills; proven ability to anticipate business needs and priorities in such a fast-paced environment.
• Languages Fluent in business Japanese and English
