JOB SUMMARY
- To be responsible for processing banknotes and to provide for general clerical support and administrative support to section officer as required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To handle bulk cash deposit & withdrawals for local banks & corporate clients.
- To input on-line & general ledger entries.
- To handle foreign currency notes to & from branches and sales & purchase foreign currency notes to & from agents, local banks for daily branch replenishment.
- To pack & unpack cash to & from branches, remote-site ATMs, and note issuing banks.
- To handle phone calls & correspondence to & from branches & customers.
- To bulk check cash bundles from other two notes issuing banks.
- To flatten banknotes for processing and handle coins received from corporate clients.
- To conduct daily balancing of books & perform general ledger reports reconciliation.
- To operate notes sorting machines and notes bundling.

- Reference the processes for which the Role Holder is responsible, as per the Operational Risk Framework definition of first / second line, for example, Guidelines for NIBs o, Security Manual, Resolution Planning and Banknote Contingency Plan.
People & Talent
- Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
- Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
- Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
- Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.
- Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
Risk Management
- Execution responsibility for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating financial crime risk, sanctions risk and reputational risks to the Group. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them.
Governance
- Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks (e.g. processes and policies) and oversight.
- Work with Manager of Governance, Compliance & Business Risk Management for matters related to legal, and compliance.
- Protect customer’s data in view of PDPO is the priority among the tasks and adopt clean desk guidelines in the own workstations
- As a Conduct Role Model of the team, assist Head of Business to execute and maintain a structured conduct operating rhythm for and within the respective the team/ department.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. - Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
