Job Description: 

Responsibilties

•    Identify reasons for disruptions and provide fixes and solutions for seamless execution of transactions.
•    Meeting clients at regular intervals to educate and influence digitization. Insight reviews, volume analysis, query analysis, disruption reasons, solutions etc. 
•    Ensuring maintaining client data confidentiality.
•    Provide personalised service for Trade Clients.
•    Provide backup for other Premium Service Managers
•    Monitoring and Ensuring prioritisation of Trade Priority clients’ transactions from a processing standpoint to achieve targeted TAT for all their transactions.
•    Provide Quarterly / regular feedback to clients on Transaction flow, frequent queries and suggestions to reduce TAT 
•    Meet customers to gain feedback and suggestions on improvement
•    Increase pro-active communication to clients wherever required to reduce client dependency on Bank.
•    Ensure timely action on the queries raised by Trade Processing team with client and relevant internal stakeholders 
•    Effective TD queue monitoring to ensure that the transactions moved to country are taken care within 30 minutes. 
•    Ensure effective follow up with relevant stakeholders for the transaction which are pending at their end
•    To ensure Staff in the team are being utilized to their optimum levels and derive maximum output. To ensure proper planning of Staffing for seamless service delivery.  
•    To ensure planned leaves and enough back-ups created for seamless business delivery. 
•    To ensure on-going training for Staff on the DOI, process upgrades and deputing them for product related trainings.
•    To ensure the motivation levels of the Staff is kept high always.
•    To encourage Staff to participate in C3, CSR activities.
•    Always Upholding the Values of the Group and Company.
•    Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies.
•    To identify risk on a continual basis and derive mitigants on a sustained basis.  
•    Comply with Group Sanctions Policy and Procedures.
•    Comply with Local Sanctions Policy and Procedures, if any. 
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
•    To effectively manage Clients, key stakeholders, Country Offices, Regulators, Superiors, Peers & Subordinates.
•    To encourage Continuous Improvement initiatives for simplifying of the processes, 
•    Convert opportunities and derive/record tangible results year on year 
•    To encourage standardization opportunities. 
•    Improve the digital penetration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling Trade Services / Trade Operations with advanced Trade Product Knowledge.
  • Undergraduate
  • Thorough understanding of ICC rules, local laws, legal risks, and operational risks.
  • Experience working in Trade products viz. Collections, Letters of Credit, Guarantees / SBLC, Open account financing / Receivable Purchases (Factoring), Islamic Trade.
  • ICC Certifications viz. CDCS, CSDG etc will be an added advantage.
