Job Summary
This role supports the coordination and delivery of risk governance routines within the Technology and Operations (T&O) function. Working closely with the Management Team, the position ensures the smooth operation of key committees through effective planning, high-quality documentation, and timely reporting. By assisting in the maintenance of governance frameworks and tracking risk actions, this role plays a vital part in enabling consistent risk oversight and ensuring the function remains aligned with regulatory and Group standards
Key Responsibilities
- Support the alignment of the T&O risk governance model with the Group’s overall governance framework.
- Support in elevating the role of forums as enablers of proactive, insight-led risk management.
- Cooperate with GRL, Secretariats and Senior MT on T&O internal and external interactions, which includes planning, maintenance of pipeline, minutes, papers, action management, regulatory requests status and other documents. Maintain formal process of scheduling and executing annual plan of committee interactions.
- Support the development of cluster and country governance packs, facilitating engagement models as required.
- Engage with relevant MT members to ensure complete and timely submission of deliverables (e.g., papers, dashboards, closure of post committee obligations etc). Track and report status of preparations.
- Coordinate senior committee papers and serve as SPoC for CoSec, ensuring BEAGLE 2.0 alignment across key governance bodies. Perform quality control, conduct regulator-facing validation checks, and maintain coherence across stakeholder submission.
- Contribute to special Projects on behalf of T&O Governance if needed.
- Support in monitoring of the quality and consistency of risk reporting across forums, escalating gaps where identified.
- Actively contribute to the identification of control weaknesses and process improvement opportunities via governance outcomes.
- Act as point of contact with regards to T&O related committee and regulatory interactions such as joint papers submission, open actions and agenda setting.
Skills & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5-7 years of relevant Risk Management or Compliance experience within the financial services industry.
- Practical experience in culture and change management.
- Prior experience in change management, processes.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work dynamically with people from a wide variety of backgrounds across country, region, business and group stakeholders.
- Data Gathering and Reporting experience.
- Information Management skills.
- IT Governanceand IT Standards, Procedures & Policies knowlage.
- Excellent command of the English Language.
