Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of AI Deployment Assurance to ensure all AI adoption across a complex, multinational financial services organization is safe, ethical, and compliant. You will lead the design and execution of assurance frameworks, position papers, and represent the company in regulatory and industry forums.

Reporting to the Director -  AI Deployment Acceleration and Assurance, you will provide independent oversight of adoption initiatives, strengthen AI governance practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain AI assurance frameworks, policies, and standards across the enterprise.
  • Anticipate and embed global regulatory requirements, and influential AI frameworks (EU AI Act, MAS, NIST, GDPR, etc.) into assurance practices.
  • Develop position papers, assurance guidelines, and whitepapers to support governance leadership.
  • Provide assurance reviews and audits of AI initiatives, escalating risks as required.
  • Present assurance findings and risk assessments to executive and board-level governance forums.
  • Ensure assurance checkpoints are consistently embedded into adoption roadmaps.
  • Represent the company in regulatory consultations, supervisory engagements, and industry associations.
  • Draft and present submissions, updates, and assurance positions to regulators and internally.
  • Contribute to shaping external standards and reinforcing the company’s thought leadership in AI safety.
  • Partner with business, compliance, legal, and technology leaders to align AI adoption with assurance expectations.
  • Provide expert guidance to project teams on balancing innovation with oversight.
  • Support adoption enablement programs by embedding assurance awareness and practices.
  • Define and track assurance KPIs and business impact (e.g., % of initiatives reviewed, remediation rates, assurance maturity, ROI, financial benefit).
  • Report on AI assurance performance to senior management, risk committees, and regulators.
  • Continuously refine AI methodologies based on lessons learned and regulatory feedback.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years in AI, digital transformation, or enterprise adoption in multinational organizations.
  • Deep knowledge and proven track record of ML and generative AI full lifecycle development and deployment.
  • Proven track record shaping adoption strategies and scaling initiatives in federated environments.
  • Experience in regulated financial services institutions as in-house professionals or professional services firms (Big 4 and/or other leading consulting companies).
  • Proven capability in change management, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Strong communication, story-telling, and facilitation skills across business and technical audiences.
  • Strategic acumen balanced with hands-on technical insight in risk measurement and assessment.
  • Fluent English.
