The Director, TSRA Delivery, plays a critical role in driving the pan-bank Threat Scenario-led Risk Assessment (TSRA) delivery and governance to ensure effective risk management and operational resilience within Standard Chartered Bank. The position focuses on developing and executing strategies that align with the Information and Cyber Security (ICS) Risk Framework, ensuring effective coordination across Business, Markets, and Functions. The Director will collaborate with senior stakeholders, Risk Managers, Control Owners, and Cyber Functions to optimize processes, strengthen risk controls, and enhance automation and reporting using advanced analytics and GenAI.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the global delivery of Threat Scenario-led Risk Assessment (TSRA), including Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM), ensuring alignment with the ICS Risk Strategy.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, governance, and reporting across TSRA processes, while fostering stakeholder collaboration and proactive risk management.
- Evaluate program outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement continuous improvements based on best practices.
- Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of project outcomes in accordance with regulatory frameworks, organisational standards, and data quality (DQ) requirements.
- Define, implement, and monitor quality and efficiency standards across all processes, systems, and infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation and digitisation.
- Develop and execute program and project plans to achieve favourable outcomes and risk reduction objectives.
- Provide regular updates, metrics, and performance reports to senior management and relevant governance bodies.
- Drive innovation and process automation within TSRA and CCM by leveraging Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Control Owners, and Cyber Security teams to strengthen risk awareness and governance practices.
- Identify and escalate key risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain transparency in communication and decision-making.
- Support and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, integrity, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation.
- Uphold the highest standards of conduct, ethics, and compliance with Group policies, regulatory requirements, and local governance frameworks.
Skills and Experience
- Approximately 15 years of experience in Project Management, IT, Cyber Security, Cyber Audit, Operations, or Risk Management
- Experience with ICS frameworks and TSRA/CCM processes.
- Proven success in leading digital and automation initiatives in large organisations.
- Familiarity with risk governance in a global banking environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; Power BI proficiency preferred.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project digitisation within financial institutions.
- Experience with KPI analysis, data management, and risk reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., PCI ISA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Scrum, CSM, CPO) preferred.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities across senior stakeholder groups.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
