Job Summary

The primary role focus is to support BCBS239 compliance requirements for Model Risk, in areas including data lineage, data quality, data governance, data handshakes and others.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the BCBS239 compliance annual self-assessment for Model Risk.
• Supporting governance activities for the BCBS239 Oversight Forum and the Risk Data Quality Management Forum.
• Supporting BCBS239 controls included in the MRPG Risk & Control Self-Assessment.
• Engagement with the MRPG reporting team, helping to ensure report data changes follow required BCBS239 governance.
• Engaging with the Group Model Inventory platform team to support the roll-out of automated DQ controls and other BCBS239-related deliverables.
• General involvement with other MRPG Reporting activities, such as the production of Model Risk Reports, supporting the model inventory process and supporting control processes across MRPG.
• Support production of the Group Model Issue Report.
• Supporting documentation of relevant Model Risk processes.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree qualification and 5+ years of experience in Banking/Financial Services
• Having good exposure to model risk management and BCBS239
• Strong foundational knowledge of mathematics and statistics and ideally their applications for model risk
