Title: Manager, Model Risk

Job Summary
The primary role focus is to support BCBS239 compliance requirements for Model Risk, in areas including data lineage, data quality, data governance, data handshakes and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the BCBS239 compliance annual self-assessment for Model Risk.
- Supporting governance activities for the BCBS239 Oversight Forum and the Risk Data Quality Management Forum.
- Supporting BCBS239 controls included in the MRPG Risk & Control Self-Assessment.
- Engagement with the MRPG reporting team, helping to ensure report data changes follow required BCBS239 governance.
- Engaging with the Group Model Inventory platform team to support the roll-out of automated DQ controls and other BCBS239-related deliverables.
- General involvement with other MRPG Reporting activities, such as the production of Model Risk Reports, supporting the model inventory process and supporting control processes across MRPG.
- Support production of the Group Model Issue Report.
- Supporting documentation of relevant Model Risk processes.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree qualification and 5+ years of experience in Banking/Financial Services
- Having good exposure to model risk management and BCBS239
- Strong foundational knowledge of mathematics and statistics and ideally their applications for model risk
