Job summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead to define and execute end-to-end testing strategies for our projects. The role involves developing detailed test plans and cases, overseeing various testing cycles, coordinating test data and environment setup, and resolving bugs within agreed timelines. The QA Automation Lead will also participate in relevant forums, coordinate quality testing activities within Agile teams, review technical documents, drive testing automation for new applications, track quality metrics, and ensure compliance with SCB's testing frameworks. Additionally, the role includes investigating non-conforming software and contributing to successful change releases. Key Responsibilities

  • Define E2E and migration testing strategies for deliverables. 
  • Create comprehensive test plans and cases using best practices. 
  • Drive E2E testing cycles (automated, manual, performance, etc.).
  • Set up test data/environment with teams. Identify, document, and resolve bugs within timelines.
  • Attend forums, coordinating with PMs and stakeholders. 
  • Estimate, plan, and prioritize QA activities in Agile teams. 
  • Review requirements and provide feedback. 
  • Drive testing automation for new Clearing applications. 
  • Track QA metrics like defect densities and coverage. 
  • Stay updated on testing tools and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with SCB testing frameworks. 
  • Investigate non-conforming software and train users. 
  • Contribute to successful change releases with zero failed releases.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the test automation domain.
  • Solid knowledge of JAVA, SQL, Shell and/or Python scripting
  • Practical expertise with a minimum of 3 automated build and testing tools:
    • Tools include: Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins (with Maven)
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based solutions such as AWS
  • Proficiency in GIT and JIRA
  • Experience in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using JBehave
  • Performance testing skills with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Dynatrace
  • Familiarity with Gherkin syntax and XML
  • Experience with service virtualization tools like LISA and Green Hat
  • Knowledge of CTD tools, particularly orthogonal arrays
  • Software development/automation frameworks
  • Software automation frameworks and QA methodologies. 
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g. Bamboo). 
  • Understanding of Clearing Derivatives and workflows. 
  • Agile/Scrum experience. 
  • Ability to write clear test plans and cases. 
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing across applications. 
  • Hands-on with Non-functional Testing and both testing types.
