Title: QA Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional passionate about QA automation to transform and lead our Quality Assurance function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up and managing QA, including strategy, people, processes, and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QA strategies, including people management, processes, and tools.
- Lead a team of 10-20 QA engineers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Design and implement automation strategies and frameworks for large-scale banking systems.
- Own the end-to-end automated testing framework, including SIT, Performance and Regression testing as a part of Market Risk Platform.
- Provide management, technical leadership and direction to internal Automation Testing team on the design, development, implementation, and deployment of automation testing framework.
- Proactively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, to ensure that automation tests are developed aligned to user stories and the appropriate test approach.
- As required, participate in core automation alongside the team.
- Strictly enforce and maintain adherence to best practices in the area of automated testing.
- Participate in estimation, planning, and costing of new projects and initiatives across multiple metrics.
- Researching emerging trends and technologies in the test automation field, facilitating continuous improvement in the discipline and driving forward the test automation strategy.
- Providing clear, concise reporting for test automation progress, results, and coverage, ensuring that Test Managers, Project Managers and other stakeholders are empowered with the required information.
- Coaching and mentoring other test professionals in the area of test automation (technical and conceptual aspects), to develop their skills and expertise, and to enhance the capability of the automation discipline.
Skills and experience
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the test automation domain.
- At least 5 years of experience leading a team of 10-20 QA engineers.
- Strong understanding of software quality framework, best practices and processes.
- Extensive experience with QA automation tools and frameworks, including Java, Cucumber, Selenium, REST-Assured, LoadRunner/JMeter, Playwright/Cypress
- Proficient in data reconciliation, data comparison, and data validation.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with relational databases and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
