Title: Specialist / Senior Specialist, FCSO ACT EA (12-month contract)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the investigative process of identification of unusual activity from initial detection thorough research, analysing, description, and recommending decision.
- Be responsible for data entry related to tracking and documenting all investigative steps.
- Seek and apply best practices to deliver expected number of quality investigations and actively monitor timely delivery of assigned tasks in accordance to group and FCC’s Policies.
- Undertake Name and Transactions Screening tasks for UK and DE clients.
- Execution of controls for UK/DE processes.
- Escalate suspicious hits to in-country Act team.
- Case support activities for transactions monitoring, manual cases, and Europe i3 teams.
- Provide quality check to investigations performed by other analysts in line with applicable policies and procedures (within 12 months after the role started).
- Support training program development and learning deliver (including but not limited to shadowing sessions, training sessions).
- Review details regarding reports, significant escalations and other MI generated to Group Financial Crime Compliance and ensure risk related documents and procedural manuals are up to date.
- Give advice and guidance to other investigators in their daily case investigations.
- Actively build the professional and technical skills necessary to be successful (including but not limited to industry trends, additional trainings, process changes).
Skills and Experience
- At least 2-4 years’ relevant experience (conducting anti money laundering projects, operations or services within the financial industry or in the governmental regulatory, intelligence or equivalent).
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering.
- Correspondent Banking experience is a plus.
- Higher education degree will be viewed positively.
- ICA/ACAMS certification strongly preferred.
- Open-mindedness and motivation to learn new things.
- Ability to analyse, compare, infer, interpret, evaluate, and synthesize gathered data.
- Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely, and articulately in English.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn quickly of new systems/applications
- Research skills, including general Internet use. Displaying an appropriate knowledge of available sources and knowledge regarding the methods, typologies and trends attendant to potential money laundering, financial crime, and terrorism financing to identify possible indicators of these illicit activities in the Bank’s transactional environment.
- Good communication skills. Ability to share knowledge, as well as provide and receive feedback.
- Capability to work pro-actively and independently, as well as being part of the team or working group.
- Ability to work under time constraints.
