Title: Associate Director, Client Management

Key Responsibilities
- Continuously ensure high level of preparedness by self and Client Management Team across SCB AG for any Audit and ensure no material audit failures/ no material adverse audits grading in reviews
- Support internal and external audits related to processes/activities carried out by Client Management
- Ensure, lead and monitor efficient preparation of Audit reviews
- Manage information requests from Auditors, confirming ownership internally and tracking related responses during audit
- Manage /Assist in systems and data retrieval (e.g. including raising FedX reports), and engage in optimizing the data retrieval process to ensure data is complete and fit for purpose
- Support the Client Management Team on Governance, Risk and Regulatory aspects
- Support the framework for effective management of operational risks across the Business and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations
- Drive continuous improvement of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes to increase the consistency of systems and processes
- Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s and SCB AG’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls across Client Management and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group and SCB AG specifically operate, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
- Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge senior stakeholders
- Close collaboration with the risk and control team on organisation and management of procedural guidelines related to Client Management
- Develop and support the set-up of workflows & documents between 1st and 2nd line
- Perform monthly controls for CMt, escalate results with relevant stakeholders and follow up the remediation
Skills and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in banking or other relevant environment.
- Languages: Fluent in English Experience working in a Governance or Risk environment
- German Language will be an asset
- Experience in German AML and KYC requirements
- Experience in engaging with internal/external auditors
- Sound knowledge of local regulations (KYC, credit and lending, risk management)
- Team-oriented but also able to act with own initiative and autonomously
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight timeframes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
