Job Summary

The B6 role in Risk Analytics and Insights Team is to drive implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance Risk Management processes and provide best in class analytics support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Data, Insights & Analytics initiatives within T&O, as per Team SOP.
  • Support People Leader in identification of necessary infrastructure, tools, trainings or capabilities for the team and inform People Leader about required support.
  • Being responsible for designing and delivering the measurement, reporting, and dashboard capabilities that enable effective oversight of the Bank’s evolving global business services model Support lifecycle management for products and tools they built or support as back up.
  • Being responsible for visual design and recommendations of solutions, insights representing metrics, leading indicators, signals that translates information into easy to consume actions for leaders to consume.
  • Ensuring that metrics, reporting standards, and management information are robust, consistent, and aligned to the Bank’s broader transformation and productivity agenda, while remaining closely integrated with stakeholders across the wider organization.
  • Stay up to date with current and emerging BI industry trends and best practices.
  • Cooperate with other Data, Insights & Analytics teams to align approaches within the Bank
  • Support stakeholders by gathering and understanding their requirements, proactive sharing of opportunities for data driven insights, automation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Stakeholders for the functional analysis and development of assigned products.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics or other relevant areas.
  • 7+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services or a related industry preferred.
  • Prior experience in business analysis, creating dashboards and MI solutions is essential (Tableau - preferred, Figma).
  • Experience in management information and performance reporting preferred.
  • Languages: English.
  • Coding skills will be additional advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise.
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation’s goal.
  • Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesn’t work and what does.
  • Excellent communication and briefing skills at senior executive and board level – oral, written and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences.
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to deliver value.
  • Excellent understanding and proven track record of implementation of solutions using Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau (preferred) etc.
