Key Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee technology and ICS risk landscape for Standard Chartered AG coming from either internal or external regulatory issues mainly from DORA, MaRisk and BAIT.
  • Conduct regular ICT risk assessments to evaluate ICT-related threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate the treatment plans, monitor the risk mitigation plans and track risk-reduction measures.
  • Ensure registration and risk assessment of any ICT risk coming from either internal or external regulatory issues and ensure that the information on the operational risk platform is always up-to-date.
  • Coordinate the Information Domain analysis for SCB AG and conduct the regular ICT Risk assessment along with 2nd LoD and local stakeholders.
  • Hold regular and ad-hoc meetings to address challenges of ICT risks.
  • Reporting controls results to 2LoD about ICT risks.
  • Support transition to the new SCB AG OTCR framework along with 2nd LoD and SC Group.
  • Support the ICT TPRM function on the third-party risk assessment together with Business and the 2LoD risk management function.
  • Actively monitor and propose relevant regulatory changes for incorporation to 2nd LoD.
  • Work with Europe and Americas TPRM team on the reporting for TPRM forum including content development, drafting of minutes and follow up with key stakeholders on open action items.
  • Perform periodic oversight checks on ICT-related risks coming from European/Group Forums and committees.

Skills and Experience

 

  • Relevant experience in Risk, Technology in Banking and Financial services. 
  • Expertise in risk assessment, control, and implementation.
  • Advanced understanding of OTCR framework and its operationalization.
  • Regulatory knowledge (e.g., MaRisk, BAIT, DORA) for risk criteria definition.
  • Vast experience in conducting ICT risk assessments (e.g., threat/vulnerability).
  • Experience preparing submissions to competent authorities.
  • Proven experience in effective collaboration across technology and governance teams.
  • Advanced skills in tracking mitigation plans and reporting to 2LoD.
  • Excellent communication in English (articulation and writing).
