Job Summary
The Manager, Credit Risk Stress Testing is responsible for running the Credit Risk Stress Testing for SCB AG’s credit portfolio. This includes but not limited to stress testing for ICAAP, risk specific management stress testing etc. The person should have a good understanding of the scenario impact to the portfolio and be able to understand the RWA calculation in the Standardised as well as the F-IRB approach under CRR III.
Key Responsibilities
- The Manager, Credit Risk Stress Testing will lead the Credit Risk Stress Testing for SCB AG’s ICAAP, Management Stress Testing, Regulatory Stress Testing, and any other credit risk related stress testing for the legal entity.
- This role requires a good understanding of risk drivers to the credit risk portfolio, areas of vulnerability and how the scenario can impact the portfolio. A good understanding of how RWA is derived and how ECL is impacted is critical so that the results of stress testing can be interpreted to inform management on key takeaways or necessary actions that needs to be considered
- Liaise with capital oversight team with credit risk stress testing for an efficient and effective quarterly ICAAP process for SCB AG.
- Work closely with the Credit Risk team to identify key risk drivers as well as areas of vulnerability.
- Work with the model development team on any quantification updates.
- Ensure effective levels of control and documentation on the Credit Stress Testing Process
- Ensure the credit risk stress testing results can be fed into credit risk management as a feedback mechanism.
- Strong governance, robust documentation and controls aligned to SCB AG’s Organisation Guidelines.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum degree from an accredited university.
- Banking regulatory framework.
- Substantial experience in banking industry or consultancy.
- Regulatory interpretation and/or ICAAP.
- Regulatory Interpretation (CRR including EBA Guideline, MaRisk etc.).
- Credit Risk Quantification (RWA etc.).
- Governance and Assurance.
- Additional professional qualifications (MBA, CPA etc.) is a plus.
- Business proficiency in English (verbal & written).
