Title: Migration Project Manager (Fixed term contract - 12 months)

Job Summary
Migration Project Manager executes Right Shoring projects following Right Shoring framework and methodology ensuring there is a seamless migration to the right location, with the right skills & capabilities, to improve cost & process efficiency with high level of satisfaction from key stakeholders.
The role holder will also have an opportunity for engaging in the projects outside Right-shoring, leveraging Project Management skills across wider set of Standard Chartered initiatives. In that capacity the person responsible for leading a project, ensuring that the assigned project is successfully delivered on time, within agreed scope and budget according to the Group Change Delivery Standards and Build & Maintain model.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with multiple stakeholders – Country Heads, Finance, etc to build a Right Shoring pipeline and influence both country and group stakeholders to drive the overall right-shoring agenda.
- Acknowledgement from key stakeholders that the Right Shoring Enablement team you are a member of made it easy to do business with Global Business Service.
- Act as Good Voice of Business Partner / Workforce results.
- End to End ownership of Right Shoring projects.
- Measures outcomes on Change initiatives/ program post-implementation to evaluate benefits realisation.
- Reviews new business requirements and provides solutions where required.
- Manages the project / change using the Group’s Change Delivery Standards in alignment with Build & Maintain approach and successfully delivers the scope with a disciplined approach to change control and agreed timelines.
- Understands the delivery risks and business context behind the specific change delivery.
- Presents clear options and recommendations for the project action plans and risk mitigation options.
- Works with sending and receiving side leaders to review the opportunity, assesses decouplability, design solutions and manages the migration.
- Drives project meetings to monitor project progress. Ensures comprehensive documentation during project lifecycle - Toll gate documents, legal documents, etc.
- Works closely with various functional teams i.e., Talent Acquisition, training, Operations, Property, Finance, etc for project execution.
- Has a good understanding of Banking Products across all geographies.
- Understands the project lifecycle and ensures all stages of the lifecycle are managed accordingly.
- Works with the Product Owner, Hive Lead and Business Owners to identify high-level customer requirements.
- Communicates regularly to Program/ Project manager about project risks, issues, cost, impact on benefits, and scope changes.
- Ensures scope, approach, solution design, timelines, and all other key aspects of the workstream/project are documented.
Qualifications
- Project/Program Manager with min.5 years of work experience across Banking BPO functions with previous experience of leading multiple complex Transition / Right Shoring initiatives.
- Candidate should have min. 1 year experience in leading small to medium scale Right Shoring / Transitions projects within Banking and Financial Services organization for processes and functions.
- Candidate should be willing to work on specialized projects across Countries/Regions, which may require working in different shifts as per the region.
- Ability to work with multi-function team(s) and managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors across geographies.
- Good understanding of Right Shoring methodology, Six Sigma/Lean Tools, and Contractual framework RFI, RFP, SOW, SLA, etc.
- Support Right Shoring/Global Enablement Services Lead to prepare Monthly Reviews, alongside good presentation, communication and influencing skills since the role requires leading governance and change management with senior leaders across the organization.
- Focus on execution and ability to manage through ambiguity and drive performance and change.
- Should have good understanding of business metrics and performance management. Specific to forecasting and capacity planning, pay for performance, productivity, etc.
- Ability to think strategically and logically structure and process large amounts of data into meaningful and actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytics and ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive results.
- Should have a good understanding of technology infrastructure and set up requirements i.e connectivity, bandwidth, Business Requirement Document, production environment, etc.
- Develop and maintain end to end process maps, Department Operating Instructions, system architecture and taxonomies.
- Work closely with Global Process Leads to finalise and implement future state processes.
- The incumbent will also be expected to participate in appropriate squads alongside their relevant Global Process Lead to help drive transformational change across multiple Business Units.
