The successful candidate will be part of the Scrum Master/Project Manager Chapter under ICS Portfolio - cluster within the ICS (Information Cyber Security) Portfolio Enablement hive, a part of the Transformation, Technology and Operations (TTO).
The main responsibilities of a “Scrum Master/Project Manager Chapter Lead” are to build up the right capabilities in the Scrum Master/Project Manager people in the Chapter, equipping them with the skills, tools, and standard approaches to deliver functional excellence, and ensuring that they are focused on delivering value to the business. At the same time, we would expect the Chapter Lead to perform as a Scrum Master/Project Manager within the “Scrum Master/Project Manager Chapter”. The Chapter Lead takes responsibility for the line management of the people within the Chapter.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, teach, or sponsor the required project management skills/ technical skills high- quality delivery.
- Support all Chapter members in living SCBs core values in everything they do.
- Participate in Quarterly BRP and understand any new skills needed, resource demand management, risks, allocations.
- Provides servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency to the team.
- Collaborate with other chapter leads across ICS
- Business Delivery of the relevant ICS project
- Engage with third-party vendors as appropriate for the project
- Represent ICS across the Bank at key cross functional projects
- Own and manage the project plan, financials, projections, issue/dependency tracking, resourcing and timescales for the Project
- Advocate delivery excellence, minimising delivery risk
- Follow the bank’s project methodology and drive enhancements to it where appropriate
- Build relationships with key stakeholders: Business, Fellow Change leaders inside and outside of CSS and Front Office
- Timely and clear communications to the stakeholder community
- Manage projects in line with ePMO standards. Ensuring Clarity is up to date including Project static, RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts, and they are tracked and reported to the appropriate governance bodies
- Ensuring that all submissions to committees and working groups (Red Packs, Closure Reports, Benefit Reports, Progress Reports, etc.) are of the right quality and are in time
Skills and Experience
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certification , Cyber Security Certification preferable
- Knowledge of platforms and systems: Vertex’s Synapse, Panorays, Process Unity
- Project and Programme Management
- Stakeholder Engagement/Management
- Cyber Risk, Active Threat Monitoring, Continuous Monitoring, Threat Assessment & Insider Risk experience/exposure
- GTM Operation / Service Governance knowledge
- Understanding of TSRA, RRA, RCSA
- Understanding of ICS metrics, controls, standards and policies
- Threat Monitoring and Intelligence
- Client and Third-Party intelligence
