Title: Regulatory Remediation PMO (18-month contract)

Job Summary
The Regulatory Remediation PMO Support is responsible supporting the Lead PMO to establish a governance framework for the regulatory remediation on Lending and ICAAP. This includes, but not limited to, setting up and running the remediation project steering committee, tracking programme plan against target completion date, support work streams liaising with other internal/external stakeholders, ensure efficient and effective use of budget (including prioritisation of the budget), provide review and challenge on external consultant’s support, and regularly update to SCB AG’s Management Board and/or the Supervisory Board on progress.
Key Responsibilities
- This senior leader will programme manage SCB AG’s regulatory remediation project. By working directly with workstream leads, the person will ensure that the regulatory observations are remediated in full with the given timeline by effectively and efficiently utilising available resources.
- This role requires senior leadership experience in managing and governing regulatory change initiatives within the financial services industry, navigating and influencing senior leaders, and influencing numerous stakeholders, including external vendors.
- Supporting workstream leads on strategic planning and advisory services for issues and/or identified key risks.
- Provide control and balance checks on vendor management.
- Ensure effective levels of control and documentation for project governance, including Project Steering Committee decks and Management Board paper for regular updates.
- Workforce management of resources/allocations/skill-base for individual work streams through vendor management.
- Manage Quality Assurance reviews across the Journeys. Monitor Journey Level Risk and Issues Registers.
- Ensure consistent Risk and Issue management across the Journeys.
- Manage Audit for validation at the end of the Project.
- Strong governance, robust documentation and controls aligned to SCB AG’s Organisation Guidelines.
Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of strong experience in Programme Management and managing project finance and assurance activities.
- Minimum degree from an accredited university.
- Additional professional qualifications (MBA, CPA etc.) is a plus.
- Regulatory interpretation (CRR including EBA Guideline, MaRisk etc.).
- Familiarity with the banking industry, including regulations, compliance requirements, and common banking systems and processes.
- Experience in driving program level initiatives including process and risk governance.
- Eeeffectively communicating with and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including senior management, project managers, and business users.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness.
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills including SharePoint, MS Project skills.
- Business proficiency in english (verbal & written).
- Regulatory interpretation and/or ICAAP certification.
