Treasury Finance Transformation is driving a multi-year programme to deliver scalable and integrated solutions across PnL & FTP forecasting, Hedge Accounting and Performance Management. The ultimate goal is to provide business a holistic view of their balance sheet and how various regulatory and internal constraints affect profitability through forecasting and simulation. The outcome of this work has a direct impact on the bank's return on tangible equity (RoTE).

We are looking for talented individuals to support Treasury P&L and FTP forecasting and solution delivery as part of the Treasury Finance Transformation agenda. This role will partner closely with Treasury Finance stakeholders and delivery teams to define business requirements, advise on methodology / approach, support solution design / implementation, and participate and sign-off on UAT on behalf of the stakeholders.

The ideal person should persist a blended of business SME knowledge on treasury PnL forecasting, Funds Transfer Pricing, Product Controllership and Hedge Accounting with strong markets knowledge on financial instruments (i.e. bonds / swap, etc), together with strong business & data analysis skills to translate the relevant ask into practical implementable component for POC / development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Requirements Definition

  • Act as a primary interface between Treasury stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Elicit, document and validate business requirements across Treasury Finance initiatives.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear functional, data and reporting specifications.
  • Ensure requirements align with Treasury’s target state, operating model and control framework.
  • Bridge business and technology teams by translating requirements into practical, implementable outcomes.

 
Solution Design & Delivery Support

  • Support the definition of end-to-end solution design, including processes, data and analytics.
  • Work closely with technology teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable and user-friendly.
  • Participate in design reviews, solution walkthroughs and stakeholder demonstrations.
  • Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring business sign-off and readiness for BAU.
  • Develop quick proof-of-concepts in Excel and/or Python to demonstrate solution concepts and business value.

 

Change, Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Support change management activities, including training materials and user engagement.
  • Ensure smooth transition from project delivery into business-as-usual operations.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate Treasury Finance processes.
  • Continuously provide feedback and insights to improve future deliveries and Treasury decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of direct treasury experience, 5-6 years of experience in general.

 

Treasury & Finance Domain Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of Treasury Finance concepts, including balance sheet management, financial instruments (e.g. bonds, swaps) commercial banking products, hedge accounting, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Product Control (PC).
  • Strong understanding of Treasury PnL and FTP forecasting methodologies and the ability to explain PnL movements through sensitivities and key drivers.
  • Good understanding of Hedge Accounting and associated process (i.e. effectiveness testing, etc)
  • Familiarity with Treasury processes and reporting cycles, including daily, weekly and monthly actuals and forecasts.
  • Awareness of regulatory and prudential considerations impacting Treasury and Finance, including governance, controls and explainability.

 

Business Analysis & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Strong capability in requirements elicitation, including workshops, interviews and document analysis.
  • Ability to break down complex Treasury problems into clear, structured business requirements, functional specifications and user stories.
  • Experience defining target-state processes, operating models and data flows.
  • Analytical and investigative mindset to challenge assumptions, identify root causes and propose practical solutions.

 

Stakeholder & Communication Skills

  • Ability to engage effectively with senior Treasury stakeholders, Finance partners and delivery teams.
  • Clear and structured communication of complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Confidence in influencing prioritisation and trade-offs based on business value and risk.
  • Strong documentation skills across business cases, requirement packs, process maps and decision papers.
