Title: Senior Specialist, Control Room

Key Responsibilities
- The primary areas of responsibility will be managing and performing the core functions owned by the Control Room including:
- Personal Account Dealing
- Outside Business Interest or other conduct related request
- Transactional Conflict Clearance Requests.
- The aim of those activities is to review all types of requests and to ensure compliance with SCB policies and procedures aimed at mitigating conflicts of interest’s risk and misuse of information risk.
- The role holder will be performing additional administrative and control activities, in particular:
- MAR insider list update (MAR= Market Abuse Regulation)
- Restricted List and Watch List activity
- Wall Crossing approval activity
- Updating of research disclosures
- Employee Trading Surveillance activities
- Handling of PAD/OBI breaches.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or finance.
- Candidates with knowledge of and a passion for compliance, regulation, risk management, and willing to pursue a career with Compliance in the financial services industry.
- Experience in the Compliance or Control Room function will be additional value.
- Knowledge of banking activities e.g., project finance, acquisition finance, trade finance, capital markets deals – bonds issuance.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced communication skills in English (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
- Good presentation and analytical skills with ability to analyse large data sets.
- Personal authority, integrity, and ethics.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work under pressure and handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Pro-active and possess continuous improvement mindsets to improve compliance services.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks or special assignment and to deliver as per timeline & expectation.
- Ability to work in a shift pattern on a rota system to cover New York working hours and during Polish Public Holidays.
