Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our global team as a Developer within strategic Credit Risk Programs. The role requires strong technical expertise, ownership of critical deliveries, and close collaboration with stakeholders across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and meet challenging targets under minimal supervision. This person should be able to operate both independently and as a team player with a collaborative attitude, taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, energy, and enthusiasm. Key Responsibilities
- Play a leading role in delivering strategic Credit Risk Programs with primary focus on development activities.
- Take ownership and accountability for critical deliveries, ensuring business value through innovative use of technology.
- Collaborate with team members, project managers, and senior stakeholders across multiple global locations.
- Design and implement strategic solutions in close cooperation with business stakeholders.
- Contribute to overall project effectiveness and application development.
- Deploy automation and monitoring solutions for applications.
- Develop and enhance application features based on requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and support changes in test and production environments.
Skills and Experience
- 8–10 years of hands-on development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java and experience in developing scalable, multi-threaded applications.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST API, Microservices.
- Experience with 12-factor app design and ELK stack.
- Good understanding of OO design principles, design patterns, and messaging middleware.
- Experience with cloud deployment strategies and tools such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, public cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and streaming-based solutions.
- Knowledge of SQL queries and database objects.
- Familiarity with UNIX and Windows development.
- Analytical skills with ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in a numerate subject (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
- Collaborative mindset, team-player attitude, and ability to work independently.
