Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Primary responsibility for ensuring accurate and right level of due diligence and timely completion of New to Bank CDD profiles, identification of required documentation, sourcing of underlying documents, and maintenance of Client Central
  • Act as a service partner, work together with RMs, Product Sales, Operations and other key internal stakeholders to solve client channel issues and identify opportunities to improve overall service for the clients
  • Deliver excellent service against agreed service standards, delivery standards, and minimal error rates as appropriate
  • Perform clients’ profiles ensuring that CDD and Regulatory Onboarding (e.g. FATCA, CRS) output (for both new onboarding and periodic reviews of existing customers) from Client Delivery Makers and Specialists (as required) adhere to policies, procedures, and country regulatory guidelines
  • Escalate or enforce compliance requirements, and follow any other relevant internal controls and procedures as they relate to process, products, policies, and regulations
  • Troubleshoot difficult cases with the relevant stakeholders. Proactively identify potential issues/ concerns and escalate to management for attention/ support.
  • Perform clients’ profile as Right First time to ensure that Onboarding and Account Opening process is as effective as possible

Skills and Experience

 

  • 2 years of relevant experience in KYC, AML role
  • ACAMS/ other prominent certification in AML/KYC (an advantage)
  • Experience in banking operations, preferably in the client account opening and pre-requirements process
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-moving, demanding environment whilst maintaining high quality output, good analytical skills, risk-based approach and excellent attention to detail. Strong organisational and prioritising skills are essential
  • Proficient communication in English (articulation and writing)
  • Availability to work within a shift model (08:00-22:00) to cover US time zone
