Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced eLearning Developer to join a world class learning function. You will work alongside a team of dedicated and innovative HR professionals, having the opportunity to contribute to the development of an overarching digital learning strategy.

Reporting to the Learning Studio Lead, you will provide the internal capability to design, develop and deliver digital learning modules and assets in-house.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative digital learning solutions by collaborating with stakeholders, SMEs, learning specialists, vendors and People Capability squad members on cutting edge design and delivery of engaging, distinctive, user-friendly, bite-sized and "digital-first" learning experience.
  • Brainstorm with colleagues across functions, regions, and teams to generate ideas and concepts for new learning solutions - from basic assessments to games and simulations.
  • Develop digital content (elearnings, infographics, videos, animations, simulations, assessments, games) using multiple development tools.
  • Consider and recommend appropriate use of multimedia in the design of digital learning content.
  • Curate learning content on Learning Experience Platform.
  • Operate within an agile environment to deliver solutions rapidly and to scope.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to technical hosting requirements for desktop and/or mobile as well as internal design and branding principles.
  • Ensure final project deliverables are produced at the highest quality.
  • Collaborate with other specialists in Learning Technology team to improve ways of working and realise our creative potential.
  • Continually scan the external environment, developing knowledge of the future digital learning technology and innovation that we can implement in internal solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an eLearning developer/instructional designer, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Advanced skills in creating eLearnings (SCORM), videos, animations, illustrations and infographics.
  • Experience designing solutions using a variety of tools, platforms, and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Visual design skills and a strong ability to storyboard.
  • Proficiency in using creative design tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Camtasia, Powtoon and/or similar.
  • Experience in designing solutions for LMS (e.g.: Saba Cornerstone, Skillsoft Percipio) and LXP (e.g.: Cornerstone EdCast).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and experience in Web Design/SharePoint development and/or experience in developing eLearning courses using HTML/CSS/JavaScript would be a big plus.
  • Understanding of key concepts related to instructional design and instructional technology.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to work independently and effectively on multiple projects in a fast moving, agile environment.
  • Excellent collaborating skills with the ability to work with stakeholders with varying experience, backgrounds, and skillsets.
  • End user focus with a passion for experience design.
